Bajaj Auto to Launch the Dominar Scrambler in India by Mid-2019


# HIGHLIGHTS

    Bajaj Dominar 400 is expected to arrive in an all-new avatar by the mid of 2019. The brand may bring Dominar Scrambler to cater customers that are specific to off-road riding. 

    As Dominar 400 has already shown its capability to the world, getting a dedicated variant will allow buyers to be more specific for their needs. Also, Royal Enfield tried their luck with Himalayan but could not make enough out of this almost empty segment. Bajaj may bring off-road tyres and more suspension travel to make Dominar Scrambler a great option for new comers in this segment.

    
    Some reports even claim that Dominar will be used to make another version that will target adventure and touring specific buyers. This one can get high placed mudguards and more equipment for practical riding. Dominar 400 conquered the Trans Siberian Odyssey and proved its worth by riding over toughest possible terrains on Earth.

# PRICE

    Dominar is presently available in three shades and a single ABS-equipped variant priced at INR 1.63 lakh (ex-showroom). The non-ABS variant was axed few days back. Scrambler version of Dominar is expected to carry around INR 6000-8000 price hike over the regular version. Some Dominar owners have already modified their bikes to get the best all types of terrain.
