On Saturday 24 th , two 2019 Moto2™ championship contenders riding different machines, both featuring the new 2019 Triumph triple 765cc race engine, recorded practice lap times inside the fastest recorded lap of Jerez Circuit of 1 minute 41 seconds (1’41.890). This is a landmark achievement in one of the first times the riders have ridden 2019 season race bikes in their new configurations.
